Chelsea continued their dominance at the summit of the Premier League table following their 3-0 victory over Leicester City at the King Power Stadium on Saturday evening.
The Blues got off to a firing start and broke the deadlock as early as the six minutes when Hazard set up Marcos Alonso, who curled his effort into the far corner from close range to make it 1-0.
Meanwhile, the Foxes started to gain momentum in the first half but struggled to carve out any clear-cut chances at goal in the final third.
However, Antonio Conte’s side failed to carve out clear opportunities as the half went, as the score remained 1-0 heading into the halftime interval.
The Blues then doubled their lead in the 51st minute when Alonso grabbed his second of the match after his shot from the edge of the box was deflected into the Leicester goal.
However, Chelsea then grabbed their third goal of the night in the 70th minute when Pedro headed the ball into the far corner after a cross from Willian to make it 3-0. as the Blues go seven points clear at the top of the table.
The Blues managed to hold onto their three-goal lead until the final whistle to walk away with all three points at the King Power Stadium and have now stretched their lead at the top of the Premier League table to seven points.
