Bayern Munich have completed the signings of German duo Niklas Sule and Sebastian Rudy from fellow Bundesliga side Hoffenheim.
Rudy has signed a three-year contract with the club keeping him at the club until June 2020, whilst Sule has put pen to paper on a five-year contract until June 2022.
The two Germany internationals will join the German record champions on July 1, 2017.
Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge says he is delighted to have the German duo at the club, stating they are an ‘investment for the future’.
‘We’re very satisfied and delighted Niklas Süle and Sebastian Rudy join us. The signings of two Germany internationals are an investment for FC Bayern’s future,’ Rummenigge told the Bayern website.
‘Sebastian Rudy joins us on a free transfer, regarding Niklas Süle we have reached a fair and serious agreement with TSG Hoffenheim.
Rudy says he feels honoured to have joined a club of Bayern’s caliber and says it is a dream come true to have made the move to the Bundesliga champions.
‘It’s an absolute dream for me to go to Munich. FC Bayern are one of the greatest clubs in the world,’ Rudy said.
‘Regarding my farewell, I feel a little wistful too,’ Sule said, but also pointed to the great chance of ‘maturing further with one of the best teams in the world.’
