Leicester City midfielder Papy Mendy says his side have to focus on their next Premier League match following their 3-0 defeat to Chelsea at the King Power Stadium on Saturday.
A brace from Marcos Alonso and Pedro’s header handed the Premier League leaders all three points in a game that produced few goalscoring opportunities.
Mendy feels his side took positives away from their defeat against the blues, as the Foxes now prepare for their next Premier League on Sunday.
‘It was difficult for us, but everything is not too bad. We will work hard this week for the next game,’ Mendy told the Leicester City website.
‘This game is finished, so it’s important now to be concentrated for the next game. It’s important to make a big reaction.’
Leicester City will next face Southampton in the Premier League on Sunday.
The match at St. Mary’s Stadium kicks off at 14:00.
