Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Willard Katsande has confirmed that he has retired from international football after Zimbabwe’s African Cup of Nations exit.
The 31-year-old played in every match for the Warriors during the Afcon in Gabon but were eliminated from the tournament after finishing at the foot of the table in the group stages.
The Zimbabwean captain has managed to rack up 19 caps for his country, has confirmed that he has retired from international football after his side’s 4-2 defeat against Tunisia.
Katsande will now be focusing on helping Amakhosi gain success this season as they look to climb up even further on the Absa Premiership table.
