Leicester City defender Luis Hernandez is on the verge of agreeing a deal to join Spanish La Liga side Malaga after spending just seven months with the defending Premier League champions.
It is understood that Hernandez has now completed a medical in Spain and only needs to agree on personal terms before signing his new contract with the La Liga side.
The 27-year-old, who joined the Foxes on a free transfer in the summer from Sporting Gijon. The defender was unable to cement his place in the first team squad, as he faced stiff competition from Danny Simpson.
However, the Spanish defender’s move back to the La Liga could be concluded in the next 48 hours.
Hernandez could only manage to make 10 appearances this season for the Foxes, which includes playing in the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, EFL Cup and the Community Shield.
