Ajax Cape Town head coach Stanley Menzo says he is confident that his side’s hard work during training will pay off during the second half of the Absa Premiership season.
The Urban Warriors recently fell to a 3-0 defeat against Stellenbosch at Athlone Stadium as they prepare for their Absa Premiership clash against Bidvest Wits.
The 53-year-old says that his side has been working and preparing well, as they look to put in a solid performance during the second half of the Absa Premiership season.
‘We worked hard, let’s see if we can turn that hard work into a solid performance in the league,’ Menzo told the Ajax Cape Town website.
‘We have said how we want to play, agreed how we want to play and now it is all about doing the things that we have agreed on doing, and making the right choices.
‘You can play nice football, it is all about winning in football – the moment you don’t win; the way of playing will always be questioned. You have to believe in what you are doing, the way you play and try and get results as soon as possible.’
Ajax Cape Town against Bidvest Wits kicks off at 19:30.
