Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri has revealed that Islam Slimani will not be made available for selection for their upcoming FA Cup Fifth Round against Millwall on Saturday.
The Foxes now have a chance to book their place in the FA Cup quarter-finals if they can overcome Championship side Millwall in the fifth round.
Ranieri has confirmed that Leonardo Ulloa continues to recover from his recurrent muscle injury, but is waiting for the green light from his medical staff before he can return to action.
‘[Ulloa] has started to train, but not properly because he always feels something. Today he didn’t finish the training session so we have to wait to see when he is back,’ Ranieri told the Leicester City website.
‘I can’t tell you something until the medical staff tell me he is 100 per cent fit.’
Meanwhile, the Italian manager has also said that Islam Slimani is yet to get back to full match fitness after experiencing some pain in his groin area. Ranieri is firm that he is not available for selection.
‘Not yet. Also, he is feeling something in his groin. We are waiting. He is not available for these matches. If I remember well, everyone is fit and good.’
Leicester City will next take on Millwall in their FA Cup clash at the Den on Saturday.
Kick-off has been set for 17:00.
