Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford say he is confident his side can defeat Chelsea in the FA Cup quarter-finals on March 11.
The Red Devils secured a 2-1 victory over Blackburn Rovers following goals by Rashford and Zlatan Ibrahimovic at Ewood Park, on Sunday.
The 19-year-old says he is relishing the chance to face the Blues in the hopes of redeeming themselves following their 3-0 victory in the Premier League earlier this season.
‘They have one over on us so we will definitely be going there to win the game,’ Rashford told the Manchester United website.
‘At this stage of the competition, we are going to be coming up against top quality opposition no matter where you go. They are in good form, but so are we, and we will be looking to go there and win the game.’
The English forward went on to praise Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who’s scintillating past put the 19-year-old through on goal before he found the back of the net
‘It was a brilliant ball. Most of their players were around him on that side of the pitch but he was able to look up and see my run and, thankfully, I could finish it off,’ He added.
‘Sometimes it can be difficult [to complete the job in that situation] but I just kept in my mind that the team was losing and I knew that I had to finish it off.’
Manchester United will now return to the Premier League when they lock horns with Manchester City in a derby match at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.
Kick-off has been scheduled for 16:15.
