Cheetahs winger Sergeal Petersen has been ruled out of action for four to six weeks with a knee injury.

According to SuperSport.com, the Cheetahs have confirmed that Petersen suffered medial collateral ligament damage in last Saturday’s clash against the Lions and will miss at least a month of rugby.

The Cheetahs are still without captain Francois Venter, Shaun Venter and Luan de Bruin, while William Small-Smith is set to go for X-rays for a hand injury.
