Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has praised West Bromwich Albion’s performance this season ahead of the Premier League clash on Saturday.
This season, the Baggies have scored 48 percent of their goals from set-pieces and there is no doubt where West Brom’s main threat will come from on Saturday.
The 67-year-old admits that he is well aware of the Baggies’ biggest strength, while also insisting that he has been impressed with the overall display this season.
‘They have a big experience, they are well organised, physically very strong and very efficient on set-pieces. I think they’re the team who have scored more goals than anybody else on set-pieces,’ Wenger told the Arsenal website.
‘This season they’ve done very well in midfield. They have played very well, and up front, they have Hal Robson-Kanu and Salomon Rondon who have done very well for them as well.
‘It’s a very balanced team with a good size who are equipped to deal with the Premier League. It’s true that it is tough because West Brom is traditionally always a very difficult game, but as well it’s an opportunity for us to come back to the position that is much closer to Chelsea.’
Arsenal will now take on West Bromwich Albion in the Premier League on Saturday.
The match at the Hawthorns kicks off at 14:30.
