The Premier Soccer League has confirmed that the case between Bloemfontein Celtic and Polokwane City, pertaining to Luc Eymael, has been postponed until April 6, 2017.
The 57-year-old recently opted to part ways with Rise and Shine in favour of joining Absa Premiership rivals Phunya Sele Sele as the club’s new head coach.
Rise and Shine appealed to block the Belgian’s move to Siwelele and won their interdict against the former AS Vita coach’s move, but the case has now been postponed to April 6, 2017.
‘After submissions and long deliberations, the case between Bloemfontein Celtic and Polokwane City, pertaining to the interdict lodged against Celtic’s coach Luc Eymael, the case has been postponed by the PSL until the 6th of April 2017,’ Celtic revealed on their official website.
‘The coach will subsequently miss sitting on the bench for both Polokwane City and Mamelodi Sundown’s games that will be played on the 2nd and the 5th of April respectively.’
However, Eymael says he feels frustrated to be absent for Phunya Sele Sele’s upcoming Absa Premiership fixtures against Rise and Shine, and the Brazilians.
‘The case has been postponed again to next week Thursday. I have had enough of that. I will miss the [Mamelodi] Sundowns game, and the Polokwane City game,’ Eymael said.
Bloemfontein Celtic have confirmed that the case between the two sides has since been postponed via social media.
