Cristiano Ronaldo scores twice as Real Madrid beat Bayern Munich 2-1 in the first-leg of the Champions League quarter-final at the Allianz Arena.
Arturo Vidal headed Bayern into the lead but then blazed his penalty over the crossbar on the stroke of half-time before Ronaldo netted an equalising goal with his volleyed effort.
Bayern were then forced to play the rest of the match a man down after defender Javi Martinez was sent off for his second bookable offense on Ronaldo within the space of three minutes.
Ronaldo then netted his 100th goal in European competitions when he slotted the ball between goalkeeper Manuel Neuer’s legs for the winner with 13 minutes to play.
The Spanish giants will now head into the second-leg against Bayern with a two away goal advantage when the two sides meet at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu on April, 18th.
