Eleven-time winners Real Madrid have been drawn against Atletico Madrid in the UEFA Champions League semi-finals after the draw was made on Friday afternoon at the House of European Football in Nyon.
Atletico Madrid booked their ticket in the semi-finals of the competition with a hard-fought 2-1 victory on aggregate against Champions League debutants, Leicester City.
Eleven-time winners Real Madrid got the better of Bundesliga outfit Bayern Munich in controversial fashion, securing a 6-3 aggregate scoreline to advance to the semi-finals.
High-flyers Monaco continued their fine run of form and guaranteed their spot in the last four with a comprehensive 6-3 victory against Borussia Dortmund on aggregate.
Juventus made light work of five-time holders Barcelona in their quarter-final tie as they secured a 3-0 victory on aggregate to advance in the Champions league.

Real Madrid v Atletico Madrid (Santiago Bernabeu Stadium)
Monaco v Juventus (Stade Louis II)
The two legs will be played on the 2nd and 3rd of May, with the return-legs taking place on the 7th and 8th of May respectively.
This will be the fifth meeting between Real Madrid and their Spanish counterparts in all European competitions, whilst the two La Liga have met each other three times in the knockout phase of this competition, with Real emerging as victors on all three occasions.
The winners of the Monaco and Juventus tie will be the home team in the final which takes place on 3 June at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff.
