Former Proteas fast bowler Allan Donald has been named as a bowling consultant for Sri Lanka’s Champions Trophy campaign.
Donald has been cleared by Kent cricket club to link up with the the Sri Lankan side for a period of two months. He was due to take his place as assistant coach for the English county team.
The former Proteas spearhead, who took 272 ODI wickets during a career spanning 12 years, has previously worked with both New Zealand and South Africa.
Sri Lanka will begin their tournament against South Africa on 3 June at the Oval.
