Colin Ingram scored his third century in four matches as Glamorgan beat Kent by 15 runs in the One Day Cup.

Glamorgan vs Kent

Glamorgan skipper Jacques Rudolph isn’t on the greatest run of form, but his countryman Ingram is on one of the most prolific runs of his career, even by his standards. The 31-year-old tops the run-scoring charts with 564 runs from his eight matches so far, with scores of 142, 53 and 115, followed by 114 against Kent on Sunday.

Coming in at No 4, he struck up a 212-run stand with William Bragg (94), smashing eight sixes and six fours for his 98-ball 114. Glamorgan posted 356-7, and Kent had a real go at it in response, as Darren Stevens hit an incredible 147 off 67 balls. They still fell short however, with Marchant de Lange putting in a good shift of 1-42 from 9.2 overs. Glamorgan now have four wins from eight.

Leicestershire vs Derbyshire

Dolphins batting all-rounder Cameron Delport meanwhile helped Pierre de Bruyn’s Leicestershire to a comfortable five-wicket victory against Derbyshire. Needing 220 for victory, Delport struck 53 off 62 balls at the top of the order to take the sting off the chase. Hardus Viljoen took figures of 1-41 for Derbyshire in this match, but he hasn’t had the best start to the season, taking three wickets from his four matches so far. It was Leicestershire’s third win of the tournament from seven matches.

Surrey vs Hampshire

Hampshire suffered their fourth defeat of the campaign as they went down to Surrey by 66 runs D/L method. Opener Rilee Rossouw could only muster five, but George Bailey’s 145 lifted them to 271-8. Kyle Abbott did well for his 1-34 from seven overs, but the rest of the bowlers, including veteran West Indian Fidel Edwards (1-80), failed to come to the party, as Kumar Sangakkara’s 124 got Surrey comfortably over the line.
