Sebastian Vettel won the Monaco Grand Prix on Sunday to increase his lead over Lewis Hamilton in the drivers’ world championship to 25 points.

It was Ferrari’s first Monaco Grand Prix triumph in 16 years.

Vettel’s teammate Kimi Raikkonen, who started in pole position, finished second, with Red Bull’s Daniel Ricciardo third and Mercedes’ Valterri Bottas fourth.

Hamilton started in 13th, but the three-time former champion fought his way through the pack to claim seventh place.
