Floyd Mayweather and Connor McGregor will meet in the boxing ring in Las Vegas on 26 August.
The MGM Grand Garden Arena or T-Mobile Arena will be the venue.
McGregor took to social media to confirm “THE FIGHT IS ON”.
The 28-year-old UFC fighter added a picture of Mayweather’s father, Floyd Sr, a presumed joke at the expense of his 40-year-old rival’s age.

The bout will be scheduled for 12 rounds at the junior middleweight limit of 154lbs (69.8kg), with 10-ounce gloves.
The financial details, including the purse split, will not be disclosed and are protected under a confidentiality agreement. However, according to reports, each man will earn in excess of $100-million for the fight.
Mayweather retired unbeaten in 2015 after 49 bouts and is widely considered the best boxer of his generation.
McGregor, who has never boxed professionally, became the UFC’s first dual-division champion in November 2016.
