Jeremy Brockie is confident that he will soon break his duck for Mamelodi Sundowns following a wasteful performance against free State Stars.

Brockie is yet to break his duck for Masandawana following his multi-million rand move from arch-rivals SuperSport United and the New-Zealand born man says he is not worried about his lack of goals, sauying that he has experienced a goal drought before.

‘It’s disappointing and frustrating but I have got support from all the guys and coaching staff,’ he said after the draw with Free State Stars.

‘I am sure [a goal] is not far away.

‘I have had a drought before. Every striker goes through a difficult period in terms of finding the net.

‘I just have to stay calm and composed. I can’t let it get to me because if you do there is no chance [the goals] will come,’ he added.

The all-time SuperSport United top-scorer also praised the supply of his new teammates, suggesting that he will soon open his account for Sundowns.

‘I will keep getting in the right areas and try to hit the target. The supply I am getting is good. It won’t be too long,’ he concluded.

The Tshwane Derby will be played on Saturday night at Loftus Versveld Stadium with kickoff set for 18:00.
