Curwin Bosch will start at fullback as one of six changes to the Sharks’ starting XV for their match against the Sunwolves at Kings Park on Saturday.

The multiple personnel changes, made by coach Robert du Preez, comes after the Sharks’ sloppy performance against the Waratahs last week.

Bosch earns his first start of the season, replacing Lwazi Mvovo in the No 15 jersey. Makazole Mapimpi, who was rested last week, returns at left wing at the expense of Kobus van Wyk. Sbu Nkosi switches to right wing.

Up front, No 8 Tera Mtembu and debutant Wian Vosloo start in the loose trio ahead of Keegan Daniel and Tyler Paul.

The second row is unchanged, but tighthead prop John-Hubert Meyer and hooker Akker van der Merwe (bracketed with Chiliboy Ralepelle) will scrum down with Beast Mtawarira. Thomas du Toit and Franco Marais have been omitted.

Sharks – 15 Curwin Bosch, 14 Sbu Nkosi, 13 Lukhanyo Am, 12 Andre Esterhuizen, 11 Makazole Mapimpi, 10 Rob du Preez, 9 Louis Schreuder, 8 Tera Mtembu, 7 Jacques Vermeulen, 6 Wian Vosloo, 5 Stephan Lewies, 4 Ruan Botha(c), 3 John-Hubert Meyer, 2 Akker van der Merwe/Chiliboy Ralepelle, 1 Beast Mtawarira.
