Liverpool will take on Manchester City in the quarter-finals of the Champions League after the draw was concluded on Friday afternoon, writes DEAN WORKMAN.
The draw for the quarter-finals took place at the Uefa headquarters in Nyon and produced a number of mouth-watering clashes for the next round.
The eight remaining teams included in the draw were: Barcelona (ESP), Bayern München (GER), Juventus (ITA), Liverpool (ENG), Manchester City (ENG), Real Madrid (ESP, holders), Roma (ITA) and Sevilla (ESP).
Both Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp’s teams were comfortable winners in their last-16 ties against Basel and Porto respectively.
Barcelona and Bayern were given favourable draws as they will come up against Roma and Sevilla, while there will be a repeat of last year’s final as Real Madrid are set to clash with Juventus.
The draw for the quarter-finals is as follows:

Juventus (ITA) vs Real Madrid (ESP)
Liverpool (ENG) vs Man. City (ENG)
The first legs of the quarter-final will take place on 3 and 4 April, with the return legs on 10 and 11 April.
