Free State Stars assistant coach Selaotse Mosala says the experienced players in his squad will play a crucial role in helping Ea Lla Koto in the final, writes DYLAN APPOLIS.
Ea Lla Koto are set to go head-to-head with Maritzburg United for a chance to claim glory in the Nedbank Cup final at Cape Town Stadium on Saturday.
Mosala says his side has an advantage of having a number of experienced players in his squad, but he still expects an entertaining final.
‘The experienced guys have this week been helping to motivate the youngsters, to keep them calm ahead of the final. I can assure you that this is going to be a cracking match,’ Mosala said.
Maritzburg and Stars had an impressive 2017-18 Absa Premiership campaign, finishing fourth and sixth respectively in the league standings.
‘Maritzburg and Stars are the two teams that have improved the most in the PSL; both like to use the ball,’ he added.
Free State Stars will take on Maritzburg United in the Nedbank Cup final at Cape Town Stadium on Saturday, with kick-off set for 7pm.
