Golden Arrows coach Clinton Larsen and striker Lerato Lamola were honoured with the Coach and Player of the Month Awards for May.

The Abafana Bes’thende coach walked away with the Coach of the Month award for May after guiding the club to a top half position in the Absa Premiership standings following their 1-1 draw to Maritzburg United on the final day of the 2017-18 campaign.

Lamola bagged the Player of the Month award for May after securing a crucial goal which saw Arrows claim a point against the Team of Choice, Maritzburg United.

Meanwhile, Orlando Pirates forward Augustine Mulenga and Kaizer Chiefs striker Bernard Parker received the Goal of the Month awards for their respective goals.

Mulenga earned the Goal of the Month award for April after scoring a screamer during the Buccaneers 4-0 thumping of Bidvest Wits on 25 April, as voted for by the fans.

Parker’s headed effort during their 2-1 victory over relegated Ajax Cape Town on the final day of the Absa Premiership season earned him the Goal of the Month for May.
