SuperSport United confirmed the signing of midfielder Phumlani Ntshangase on a season-long loan from rivals Bidvest Wits.
Despite being a key figure at Wits during recent seasons, Ntshangase has fallen out of favour after only making only 13 appearances last season.
The 23-year-old has revealed his delight after he completed his move to Matsatsantsa on Wednesday.
‘I would like [to] thank the Supersport United management in showing interest in securing my services again and believing [in] me and I hope to repay them in the new season,’ Ntshangase told the media.
‘I won trophies at Wits and I am thrilled to be joining another winning team that enjoys regular success. I have played with a lot of the Matsatsantsa players at both club and international level and I am looking forward to challenging for my place in the starting lineup.’
SuperSport United will now turn their attention to the MTN8 when they take on Orlando Pirates at the Orlando Stadium on Saturday, with kick-off set for 8pm.
