Kaizer Chiefs coach Giovanni Solinas plans to convert playmaker Siphelele Ntshangase into a more rounded midfielder.
The former Black Leopards midfielder showed his class putting in a man-of-the-match display in the 3-0 drubbing of Free State Stars in the MTN8 quarter-final, which led Solinas to reveal his plans for the man known as “Stash.”

‘Ntshangase is a number ten,’ he said in post-match comments.
‘But I want to convert him to a midfielder, playing a bit deeper and next to Willard Katsande, so that these two will hold the midfield,’ he concluded.
Ntshangase blew hot and cold in Chiefs’ 1-1 draw against Baroka in their third league clash of the season, with Solinas citing fatigue as a factor behind his team’s dismal performance.

‘We need training sessions, but we don’t have those at present, because we play a match every three to four days, which leaves little to no time to work on our game.
‘Training sessions are an instrument to improve. However, when we train, the guys show commitment and that makes me very confident for our future,’ he concluded.

The Naturena-based outfit do duty against Maritzburg United in an Absa Premiership encounter on Friday with kickoff set for 19:30.
