The South African U20 Men’s national team (Amajita) have been handed a tough draw for the upcoming 2019 Fifa U20 World Cup in May this year.
Amajita qualified for the World Cup after reaching the semi-final of the U20 African Cup of Nations in Niger, where they finished third to book their place in the global tournament for the second consecutive time.
The South African national team have been drawn in Group F along side the likes of Portugal, Korea DPR and Argentina, facing their first opponents on 25 May.
The U20 World Cup 2019 will take place from 23 May to 15 June in Poland, with at least seven matches to be played in each of the six host cities. Both the opening game and the final will be held in Lodz, while Bielsko-Biala, Bydgoszcz, Gdynia, Lublin and Tychy will all stage at least two matches with a seeded team.
