Bafana Bafana moved five points clear at the top of the FIFA World Cup Group C qualifier following their 2-0 win over Benin in Abidjan.
South Africa secured their third successive victory in the group stage qualifiers through goals from Lyle Foster and Jayden Adams at the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium on Tuesday.
South Africa defeated Benin 2-0 in a 2026 Fifa World Cup Qualifier at the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, on Tuesday evening to go five points clear at the top of Group C.
Foster opened the scoring for Bafana in the 52nd minute before Adams put the game to bed in the 84th minute to secure the win and all three points.
The win sees South Africa remain at the top of the Group C standings with 13 points from six matches.
