Bafana Bafana have named their first post Africa Cup of Nations squad with caretaker coach Molefi Ntseki announcing a much-changed group as the side looks ahead to an international friendly against Zambia next month.
It has been a whirlwind few weeks for the national team setup following their elimination at the quarter-final stage of the Africa Cup of Nation followed by coach Stuart Baxter’s resignation.
Bafana now under the guidance of caretaker coach Ntseki, Bafana will begin preparations for the upcoming Afcon 2021 qualifiers.
They will begin their planning with a camp in South Africa before leaving for Zambia on 5 September before the international friendly match on Saturday, 7 September 2019 at Nkoloma Stadium in Lusaka.
Ntseki said the changed squad was to give a number of the players a rest while others are out injured.
