Bafana Bafana saw their 2020 Chan qualification hopes ended as Lesotho sealed a 6-2 aggregate win after their 3-0 victory over the South Africans on Sunday afternoon.

Bafana came into the game having to overturn a first leg deficit after losing the first leg 3-2 last weekend.

A more experienced lineup was named by coach David Notoane who brought in Nyiko Mobbie, Reneilwe Letsholonyane and Paseka Mako in to the starting XI.

Bafana made a slow start to the game and were forced to wait until the 25th minute for their first opening as Kgodiso Monama forced Monaheng into a save.

The game though then shifted towards the favour of the visitors but neither side could find a decisive strike before the half time break.

Notoane would have been hoping for a stronger performance in the second half but Lesotho had other ideas as Jane Ntso fired his side into the lead on the day, while also extending the aggregate score to 4-2.

Bafana were looking to find a way back into the tie but had their hopes dashed in the 70th minute as Ntso completed his brace to make it 2-0 on the day and 5-2 on aggregate.

The away side were flying and Hlompho Kalake added another goal in the latter stages of the encounter to go on and secure a 3-0 win on the day and 6-2 on aggregate.
