Bafana Bafana have risen three places up to 64th in the latest edition of the Fifa rankings, which were released on Thursday.
South Africa remain unchanged on the African rankings to sit at 13th as there was plenty of movement in and around the continent’s top 10.
Algeria remains the king of Africa while Ivory Coast and Ghana swap places inside the top three on the continent.
With barely any matches played since the July rankings, the top 20 in the world remain unchanged.
The next World Ranking will be published on 15 September 2016.
