Bafana Bafana will take part in a Three Nations tournament which will include Zambia and Zimbabwe in the upcoming FIFA international week.
The tournament was confirmed by the South African Football Association (SAFA) at a media breakfast on Tuesday morning.
SAFA are yet to reveal the details as they are waiting on the Zambian FA to confirm the fixtures. The likelihood is that both matches will be played at the national stadium in Zambia.
The last time the National side were together was in November last year when they took on Senegal in the 2018 World Cup qualifiers, a tournament that the side failed to qualify for.
The games against their African neighbours will allow Stuart Baxter to prepare his side for their upcoming 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Despite winning their opening AFCON qualifying group match against Nigeria, Bafana will be looking to improve to avoid the embarrassment of missing out on yet another major competition.
The squad for the Three Nations tournament will be announced by Baxter on Monday.
