Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos has announced his 24-man squad which will do battle in the crucial back-to-back World Cup qualifiers against Zimbabwe and Ghana.
The South Africans have made decent headway in their hopes of qualifying as back-to-back wins over Ethiopia ensure they will head into the next round of qualification games top of the group, just one point ahead of Ghana.
The teams are vying for a spot in the playoff rounds with the clash between Bafana and the Black Stars thought to be the deciding game.
Broos’ charges will face Zimbabwe on 11 November and then travel to Ghana three days later for a game in the Cape Coast.
The Belgium mentor had initially announced 36 players two weeks ago and has now trimmed them down to 24.
