Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos has announced his final 23-man squad for their international friendly matches against Eswatini and Côte d’Ivoire in October.
Broos’ charges will host Eswatini on October 13, 2023, before travelling to West Africa to face the hosts of next year’s Africa Cup of Nations, Côte d’Ivoire, on October 17.
These matches are part of the coach’s preparations for the Africa Cup of Nations in January of next year, as well as the November 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
The location of the international friendly against Eswatini will be determined in the coming days.
The team will report to camp in Johannesburg on October 8, 2023, and after hosting Eswatini on October 13, Broos and his team will fly to Abidjan the next day on a direct flight from Johannesburg.
They will return to South Africa on October 18.
