Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos has reiterated that the Mamelodi Sundowns players remain committed to the national team squad ahead of their final qualifier on Tuesday.

South Africa are set to face off against South Sudan in their final 2025 Africa Cup of Nations Group K qualifier on Tuesday evening.

With the Carling Knockout Cup approaching between Sundowns and Magesi FC Bafana’s core squad includes against Sundowns players, including Ronwen Williams, Mothobi Mvala, Khuliso Mudau, Thapelo Morena, Teboho Mokoena, Bathusi Aubaas, Iqraam Rayners and Aubrey Modiba

But Broos has since confirmed that the Sundowns players will not be excused from their final qualifying match against South Sudan

“Sundowns players are till tomorrow after the game, players of Bafana, and they stay players of Bafana,” said Broos.

Kick off is set for 6pm.
