Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos feels the “team is looking good” ahead of their final Africa Cup of Nations Group K encounter against Morocco on Saturday.

The South African national team are scheduled to face Morocco in their final group stage fixture which is set to take place at the FNB Stadium in Soweto.

Both South Africa and Morocco have already qualifier for the Afcon in Ivory Coast next year despite having one more game remaining in Group K.

Broos says that his side have come a long way and admits it wasn’t an easy journey but he is satisfied at his squad is at the moment.

“It was not easy,” the Bafana Bafana coach told Safa.net.

“There were so many critics and there were people who did not want to see me succeed. But today I look back and I’m happy because things are looking good, the team is looking good. I am happy.

“September last year was a big month for me, and it was when the core of the team was formed and we started working well together. The players knew what was asked of them and the spine of the team that I’ve been building came together…… perfect puzzle.”
