Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos says his side have the confidence to defeat Uganda and South Sudan in their two Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
South Africa are set to face Uganda in the first game which is scheduled to be played at the Orlando Stadium on Friday, September 6, with kick-off set for 6pm.
The South African national team will then take on South Sudan in the second match at the Juda Stadium on Tuesday, September 10, with kick-off scheduled for 3pm.
Broos has urged his side not to underestimate both Uganda and South Sudan ahead of their qualifying matches.
“Let us try to win these two games, we have the quality, and we have the confidence do it,” Broos told Safa.
“But it doesn’t mean we will underestimate our opponents on Friday and next week on Tuesday.
“They are difficult teams to play against. There are teams who have much power, much height and they play with heart.
“There are some good individuals in the teams, and it means from our side, we have to play on our level.
“And if we can achieve again and confirm again what we did in the last few months, I think we have to be able to win those two games.”
