Bafana Bafana midfielder Keagan Dolly has praised the impact that the young players have had on the Bafana Bafana camp.
The France-based midfielder sat out as Bafana made it through to the final of the Four Nations cup after beating Angola 6-5 on penalties in Ndola on Wednesday afternoon, after the game finished 1-1.
Stuart Baxter’s men then beat Zambia 2-0 at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium on Saturday to win the tournament.
Goals from Percy Tau in the 15th minute and a late goal from Lebogang Mothiba secured the victory for the South African national side.
The squad that was selected for the tournament was a youthful one and Dolly has revealed how the youthful talent has impacted the squad.
Speaking to SAFA.net before the victory over Chipolopolo, the former Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder said, ‘We are building towards the future and it is so great to see new faces in the team who are gelling quite well and bringing a lot of energy to the squad.
‘There is a lot of work that needs to be done and we are definitely on the right track with the introduction of youngsters into the senior team,’ added the Montpellier HSC player.
