Bafana Bafana further cemented their place at the top of the Group G standings following their 1-0 win over Ethiopia in the 2022 Fifa World Cup qualifier at the FNB Stadium on Tuesday.

The only goal of the game was scored by former Bidvest Wits attacker Getaneh Kebede, who directed the ball into his own net after Yusuf Maart had picked out Victor Letsoalo from a corner kick.

However, Bafana reclaimed top spot hours after Ghana moved top of Group G following their narrow victory over the Walia Ibex in Soweto in front of 2,000 spectators.
