Bafana Bafana captain Thulani Hlatshwayo admits his side have been inspired by the Springboks’ Rugby World Cup triumph as they start their Afcon 2021 qualifying campaign.
The country has been in a week-long party mood since the Springboks arrived back home from their nation-uniting victory in Japan.

Bafana now will have the opportunity to keep the party going as they face Ghana in the Cape Coast region of the country on Thursday, before a clash with Sudan at the Orlando Stadium on Sunday.
Speaking to the media at a media conference before leaving the country on Monday, the Bafana captain admitted that the side are looking to draw inspiration from what his close friend and captain Siya Kolisi and the Springboks achieved.

Hlatshwayo led Bafana to their best Afcon finish in 12 years with their quarter-final exit in Egypt in June, and the Bidvest Wits defender will be hoping Bafana can get their qualifying campaign off to a good start with a view of improving on their 2019 experience in 2021.
