Bafana Bafana ran out comfortable 3-1 winners over Guinea-Bissau at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday.

Interim coach Owen da Gama opted to start with France-based striker Kermit Erasmus up front, and his attacking lineup did the trick as the hosts got off to a fast start.

Bafana enjoyed ample time on the ball, but had to wait until the 34th minute to take the lead.  Erasmus gave local fans a reminder of his class as he buried his penalty after Thulani Serero, himself out in the cold at Ajax Amsterdam, was fouled.

Themba Zwane made way for Andile Jali after the break, before Lebogang Manyama and Percy Tau were introduced 63 minutes in.

Six minutes later Keagan Dolly set up former Mamelodi Sundowns colleague Tau, who made no mistake.  Balde pulled one back for the visitors, but when Bafana were awarded their second penalty, it was game over as Jali made no mistake from the spot.
