Uganda national team coach Milutin Sredojevic has rejected reports linking him with the head coaching job of Bafana Bafana following Shakes Mashaba’s suspension.

‘I strongly deny rumours and speculations about linking me with S. Africa due to my unreserved loyalty to Uganda and absolute respect for South Africa’, tweeted Sredojevic after speculation of him replacing Mashaba.

Sredojevic is in charge of the Uganda national team and now looks set to continue in that role until at least the end of the 2017 Afcon in January next year.

Mashaba’s future as head coach of the South African team remains uncertain following his suspension by Safa.

Bafana Bafana take on Mozambique in an international friendly at Estadio Nacional do Zimpeto on Tuesday, with kick-off set for 19:00.
