Bafana Bafana forward Percy Tau has praised Lyle Foster and wants to see him grow and succeed in the Premier League.
The 23-year-old started his debut in the Premier League like a house on fire after scoring two goals in two games for Burnley against Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur, respectively.
Foster joined the club from Belgian outfit KVC Westerlo in January this year and help the team gain promotion to the Premier League after clinching the English Championship title.
Tau insists that Foster has worked hard and deserves to be where he is at the moment but has urged the young forward to continue growing and develop as a player.
“I feel like he deserves it and he has to be in that space and it’s a good platform for him to show them we still have quality to play in the EPL,” Tau told the media as per Idiskitimes.
“He just has to keep going and keep learning. He also has Kompany with him, hopefully they will make a great relationship going forward.
“But I’m proud of him, I just want to see him keep growing.”
