Bafana Bafana playmaker Percy Tau is taking the plaudits, as well as the positives, from the win over Guinea-Bissau.

Tau made an appearance as a second half substitute and got his name on to the score sheet as he helped Bafana to a 3-1 win on Saturday.

‘The opponents were strong, especially in the second half and I feel me and my teammates did enough to deserve a win,’ said Tau.

‘We will build on from this performance and hopefully get better.

‘The squad is fairly new and we are learning a lot about ourselves as a group at the moment.

‘If we continue taking the lessons and responding as positive as we did, we could go on to be a formidable team.’

Bafana will be looking for more of the same when they face Angola on Tuesday.
