Bafana Bafana and Genclerbirligi striker Tokelo Rantie ensured that he isn’t a forgotten man, by scoring a world-class solo goal in his team’s 2-1 loss against Emmanuel Adebayor’s side.
The former Orlando Pirates man has been quietly going about his business in the Turkish top-flight after completing a move from Premier League outfit Bournemouth in August 2013.
The 26-year-old netted the opening goal of the game with a Diego Maradona-esque run to bring his tally of goals to five goals in 21 appearances in all competitions.

Rantie’s goal could not have come at a better time, with new Bafana Bafana coach Stuart Baxter surely tracking his progress ahead of his first team selection for the national team.
