A brace by Thapelo Morena inspired Bafana Bafana to secure a vital 3-1 victory over Zimbabwe in their FIFA World Cup qualifier at the Free State Stadium on Tuesday.
A goal from Iqraam Rayners and a brace by Thapelo Morena saw South Africa cancel out Tawanda Chirewa’s goal to secure the win and all three points.
The win sees Bafana move up to second place in the Group C standings with seven points from three games, while Zimbabwe are at the bottom of the group with two points from four matches.
