Mamelodi Sundowns star Teboho Mokoena scored a spectacular free-kick to inspire Bafana Bafana to a 2-0 win over Morocco in the last 16 of the Africa Cup of Nations.
Morocco were reduced to ten men in the second minute of injury time when Manchester United’s Amrabat was sent off for a last-man challenge on Mokoena as the South African midfielder charged towards the penalty box.
Amrabat was initially given a second yellow card, which was upgraded to a straight red after a review.
The excellent Mokoena, one of the Sundowns contingent, then converted the resulting free kick to put Morocco away for good.
