Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos will make several changes to his team facing world champions France on Tuesday, saying he wants to give players the opportunity to show their qualities.
After shooting blanks in a 0-0 draw with Guinea on Friday night, Bafana will now face the world champions in their own backyard on Tuesday evening.
With Broos having already confirmed that he wanted to give the whole squad a shot over these two games, he again insisted changes will be made.
Bafana face France at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy in Lille on Tuesday night at 9:15pm and are fresh from beating Ivory Coast 2-1 at the same venue on Friday.
“There will be a different team, not all eleven players will change, but there will be a different team,” Broos said.
“I said before this camp that I will give every player minutes, so we started already against Guinea. We will do the same thing against France, maybe a little bit less because the opponent is much better also.
“There will be new players again, like Mobbie was not there, Lyle Lakay was not there … so they will play against France, that is for sure. I want to also give them a chance to show their qualities,” said Broos.
Fagrie Lakay, Hlongwane and goalkeeper Ronwen Williams, also the Bafana skipper, are expected to feature in the game after missing the first fixture.
