Kaizer Chiefs and Cape Town City will do battle in their final pre-season fixture this weekend when they clash in the first-ever Mpumalanga Cultural Experience Cup on Saturday.
The Amakhosi and the Citizens will be joined by two local National First Division rivals Mbombela United and newly promoted TS Sporting who will also be facing off before the big fixture kicks off between the two Absa Premiership sides.

The tournament ends a busy pre-season for Chiefs, who have already competed in the Maize Cup – which they retained after a penalty shootout victory over Free State Stars – and the Shell Helix Ultra Cup, where the Soweto giants were outclassed by a weakened Sundowns team.

City, meanwhile, have played their pre-season friendlies behind closed doors with the last one being against Orlando Pirates at the Cape Town Stadium this past weekend.
The game will also offer both Benni McCarthy and Giovanni Solinas a close look at their squads and new players before the Absa Premiership kicks off next weekend.
