Quinton de Kock’s 87 off 52 ball was not enough to guide Seattle Orcas over the line as they conceded a seven-wicket defeat to MI New York in the final of the inaugural Major League Cricket tournament in Dallas on Sunday.
The 30-year-old smashed 87 runs off 52 balls as Seattle hit up a score of 183-9 in Dallas.
The South African also went on to smash three sixes off of debutant Jessy Singh in the 15th over of the match.

His efforts was not enough to lead his team to victory as MI New York captain Nicholas Pooran smashed an unbeaten 137 off 55 deliveries to lead his team to victory with four overs remaining.
Meanwhile, fellow South African Dewald Brevis also contributed to 20 runs off 18 balls for MI New York before he was run out.
