Faf du Plessis hopes to soon be back on the field after suffering a concussion when he was involved in a nasty collision while playing for Quetta Gladiators in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) on Saturday.
Du Plessis collided with Pakistan cricketer Mohammad Hasnain while diving to stop a boundary. Reports indicated that Du Plessis was taken to hospital for scans but he was later seen sitting in the Quetta Gladiators dugout.
This past Sunday, he thanked people for the messages of support, while revealing his latest condition.
Thank you everyone for all the messages of support. I’m back at the hotel recovering. Have concussion with some memory loss but I will be fine. Hopefully be back on the field soon. Much love. ❤️
