Dale Steyn has joined the Royal Challengers Bangalore to replace Nathan Coulter-Nile.
Steyn hinted at the move on Thursday when he posted a picture of his India visa on Instagram. This started rumours whether Steyn would be playing or commentating in the IPL.
The obvious move for the Phalaborwa Express was to join the struggling Royal Challengers Banglore, whose poor form has seen them undergo three straight defeats. He did exactly that, and a cheeky tweet from RCB all but confirmed his arrival.
Long time, no see. Welcome back. 😎 #playBold pic.twitter.com/QOmXUi9CoM

Having not played for the Titans in the CSA T20 Challenge, attempting to boost RCB’s IPL campaign could be a great test for the 35-year-old ahead of the World Cup.
Steyn’s last IPL campaign was in 2016. He has played 90 matches and has taken 92 wickets at an economy of 6.72.
Dale Steyn played for RCB from 2008 to 2010 before joining the Deccan Chargers in 2011.
